Boxes of Love Quilt Pattern - the single heart colour version

Boxes of Love Quilt Pattern - the single heart colour version

The Boxes of Love quilt pattern is now available!

This baby size Boxes of Love quilt was first off the rank when we decided this pattern was a go.  I was so eager to get started that l finished cutting and piecing the top within the day.  I love the colour combination of the pink, green and white, a palette l have wanted to use for the longest of times but not the right project on hand.  All the fabrics used are Kona solids and l just can't help but smile each time l see this baby size Boxes of Love quilt.  This single colour heart version uses yardage, so pull out your favourite fabrics and get started.   For a different colour palette check out this post for the limited colour version and this post of Tester quilts.

Boxes of Love Skill Level - Intermediate/Confident Beginner

Boxes of Love quilt pattern has been labelled an intermediate or confident beginner quilt pattern.  The reason being is the curved quilt block, not only that, but the double curved units that shape the top of the heart quilt block and is sewn as one piece.  There is a video to show you how to piece that curve heart quilt block though, so never fear.  Other than that, the rest of the quilt pattern is quite simple, very beginner friendly and an easy quilt to put together

Quilting

To finish off this sweet gorgeous quilt, l went wavy again but a different kind of wavy quilting to the one l did with the throw Boxes of Love version.  I love everything about this quilt, from the design to the gorgeous heart shape, to the colour palette topped off with beautiful wavy quilting.  I am really on a wave curve kick aren't l, as l waved my way through both the throw and baby size quilts.
