In case you missed it, Boxes of Love quilt pattern is now available!
You can read about the Boxes of Love single heart colour version here and the limited heart colour version here.
Today l'm excited to share with you my Tester versions of the Boxes of Love quilt pattern. Without them, this pattern would not have been what it is. I so appreciate their help and feedback as this helps turn ok to great and to see their interpretation of the design is always the fun. Let's jump into the tester quilts.
First up is this Mahalia of @mahalia_rose_sews who made the baby size version and boy is it a beauty. I love the prints she used and the contrast the dark colourful spotty hearts have with the orange swirls of the boxes is just beautiful. This quilt makes me smile everytime l see it
Elia of @eliapestanaknight made such a stunning throw size with scrappy heart colours. I love the glow of the yellow squares and the addition of the border, makes everything seem like theare floating.
Next up is Dianna of @seamschaotic who made this pretty floral baby size. The combination of the print and solid is just the perfect match
Janet of @bestjlb made the sweetest throw size full of gorgeous scrappy hearts prints. I love her use of low and high volume prints together not to mention the gorgeous colours too
Last but not least is this beautiful twin size version by Lee (not on Instagram). I love the combination of the red and blue against the white background. The quilting tops of this beautiful single heart colour version
Well, there you have it. Aren't they just gorgeous quilts. As you can see, the design lends itself to a lot of variations with your heart blocks; make them scrappy, single colour or use a limited colour palette or even mix srappy and solids together, either ways, your quilt will come out stunning.
I can't wait to see your version of the Boxes of Love quilt. If you do make one, please do share, l would love to see. You can tag me @lynsavenue #boxesoflovequilt #lynsavenuepatterns or send me an email.
